The Black & Decker 10-Inch Compound Miter Saw delivers plenty of cutting power with its 15 amp motor. The Miter Saw features the advantage of a laser mounted on the blade guard, unlike on the arbor or behind the blade on competing miter saws. When a laser is mounted on a miter saw’s arbor the laser line disappears when you lower the saw to make your cut. The Black & Decker Miter Saw solves this problem because the laser is mounted on the blade guard in a way that the laser line is always visible. The laser line is also adjusted easily. The line can be set to either the left or right side of the blade and can be dialed in precisely to the thickness or kerf of your blade. This provides an accurate, bright and visible line for your cut from start to finish – before you cut, during the cut, and when your cut is finished. Another advantage of this Miter Saw is that the laser is turned on manually, and does not come on only when the saw blade is running. While other miter saws force you to line up your cut to the laser line while the saw is running, a separate on/off switch on the BDMS200 Miter Saw lets you turn on the laser independent of the saw. You can turn on the laser line, line up your cut, and then turn on the saw for much safer operation. The 10” Compound Miter Saw comes complete with a powerful 15-amp motor to deliver fast, accurate cuts. An electric brake stops the blade in seconds after every cut, so you can quickly move on to the next cut. A high sliding fence provides support and flexibility for cutting taller materials such as crown molding and baseboard. The fence also includes pre-drilled holes that let you mount wood auxiliary fences for taller work pieces. The Compound Miter Saw is sold with a carbide-tipped blade for a fine finish on your cut. Seven pre-indexed miter stops offer quick, accurate miter cuts. A horizontal handle reduces fatigue and detachable dust bag collects sawdust for easy disposal.

Great miter saw at 100 dollars on sale. The saw is not as stable on a bevel, some wobble, but is what you would expect for a cheaper saw, does its job though, highly recommend it for non-professionals. The laser really helps. The blade that comes with it is for ripping, can't use it to cut molding. One problem, at a 45 degree bevel cut the saw blade that came with it was too wide or maybe the handle had a little too much wobble, but the blade actually cut into the saw base, after changing the blade I didn't have that happen again.
