Freuds Thin Kerf (TK) Series of blades provide precise, quality cuts for most every application. The advanced thin kerf design removes less material -- thereby reducing the strain on your equipment and increasing the life of your saw. The slim design requires less cutting power from both you and the saw, making these blades ideal for underpowered saws. A Silver I.C.E. coating on all Freud TK blades helps reduce friction, heat build-up and gumming, thus extending the life of the blade by as much as 50 percent.
About this Trim Saw Blade
The Freud 4-3/8-inch 36-tooth trim saw blade features carbide tips for a precise cut and a thin kerf for less power consumption. For easy use and added precision, the blades also feature an anti-kickback design, and Tri-Metal Brazing for impact resistance. This blade also features expansion slots that help control expansion from heat during operation -- without the added noise. The blade is laser-cut and computer pre-tensioned for a long life and smooth operation; and the tungsten carbide with titanium resists the acids and chemicals that are naturally present in wood. The trim saw blade works well as a replacement for Porter Cable saws, Makita saws, and other similar trim saws.
Applications
Use this blade for fine cuts with Porter Cable, Makita, or similar trim saws; it tears through crosscuts, plywood, rips, laminates and chipboard.

I thought that this had to be a wonderful blade because of the Freud name. I put it on my trim saw and I thought I put it on backwards it cut so badly. I tried to use it once, then put my old blade back on with the missing teeth; if you're going to cut anything harder that hot butter, don't buy this high-priced coaster!
