Comparing the Stanley to the Hilti, I felt the Stanley was the better unit by an online comparison of the products. It is easy to use, but I believe the Hilti woudl have been the better choice; as it is better built. The Stanley has a plastic viewer, the Hilti has a glass viewer. The Hilti case is better built also. I am not sorry about purchasing the Stanley, but most likely would purchase the Hilti next time.
