Hunter's exclusive Whisperwind motor also assures powerful, whisper-quiet operation.
The Palermo also includes a 22-watt compact frosted globe fluorescent light fixture that uses one 22-watt compact fluorescent bulb. In addition, the full function wireless remote control with three speeds, light dimmer and reverse allows for independent fan and light operation.

Energy Star rated, which I view as a big plus. The florescent light fully lights my bedroom and is not what I would consider "harsh" light. The remote control is fantastic, especially when going to bed because I do not have to get up to turn off the lights. The fan is extremely quiet and smooth ... I have yet to hear the fixture shake. Not only is the fan extremely functional, but it is pretty stylish, as well.
