Designed in an antique bronze finish, the matching backplate and stem gracefully mix with a delicate porcelain glass shade. The adjustable track head can be directed conveniently to where light is needed most. Small and streamlined, this design adds sophistication and style to directional lighting, making it as decorative as it is functional. Perfect for accent or task lighting in any room, the Globe track one-light spot is 4-1/4 inches wide and requires one G9-type halogen bulb, 40 watts maximum (sold separately). A glass bulb cover is included for added safety.

I believed the measurement listed was the glass size. It is actually the overall size. This light is very nice looking. Unfortunately the size would only make it applicable for accent lighting- which is what I plan to use them for now.
