The Two Cherries 6-Piece Chisel Set comes with a custom leather roll and features polished German hand-forged blades that are heat-treated to stay sharp longer. Each tool is fitted with a comfortable hornbeam handle appropriate for the size of the blade. The set includes 6-, 10-, 12-, 16-, 20-, and 26mm chisels, and the included roll will hold up to 12 chisels, allowing you to add to your collection over time.

Manufactured in Germany since 1858, Two Cherries are known around the world for exceptional quality and edge retention. Solid forged of the highest quality carbon steel, each chisel is hardened to 61 Rockwell, producing a strong chisel that will stay sharp longer than most other chisels. Each tool is then fitted with a hornbeam handle appropriate for the size of the blade. This 6 piece set comes in a beautiful leather roll designed to keep your tools protected in between uses. Includes 6, 10, 12, 16, 20 and 26mm sizes. The roll will hold up to 12 tools, allowing you to add to your collection over time.

I bought the polished set, but the individual who polished my set rounded over every single chisel. You will have to grind 1/8 inch off the end to get to the flat to make a sharp chisel. Also be prepared to use a heavy duty thinner and elbow grease to remove the coating on the polished set. It is almost as hard as the steel. If money is important (and when isn't it?) buy the unpolished set. It hones up fast and you will save money. If money is no object, buy Lie-Niesen bench chisels and Ashley Ilse mortise chisels. You will be very happy indeed with those products!
