Keep toasty when Jack Frost comes nipping by basking in the warm breeze of this fan heater from Italian industry leader, DeLonghi. The fan heater oscillates to spread heat throughout the room. Best used as an enhancement to a central heating system, separate use of the fan heater also provides comfort in the fall and spring months during cool mornings and evenings. Small and medium rooms benefit most from the application of the quiet fan heater.
The fan heater features a convex grille format for unhindered airflow. With three power settings for varying needs, the fan heater runs low at 650 watts, medium at 950 watts, and high at 1500 watts. The fan also runs without heat to circulate air in hot weather. Equipped with ECC (electrical climate control) technology, the user selects an ideal temperature on the adjustable thermostat and the appliance will automatically adjust to obtain and maintain that level. The heater fires up with the push a foot switch, while a remote control enables heat regulation from across the room. Should the temperature dip to 44 degrees F, an antifreeze setting activates heating. Upon tip-over or overheating, a PTC ceramic thermal cut-off stops wattage output and the heater buzzes for attention. Avoid placing the heater near a power outlet or flammables, or outdoors and read all safety guidelines and instructions prior to initial use. This unit can be mounted on a wall for reduced floor clutter. Hardware for mounting and the necessary two AAA batteries for the remote control must be purchased separately.
