The pruner pole features a light fiberglass construction that allows most users to maneuver the pruner without physical discomfort. The pruner head is composed of a die cast zinc alloy that weathers well. To effectively cut branches, the pruner contains two, 15-inch, hardened steel bypass blades curved to accommodate the shape of branches. The blades cut branches up to one inch in diameter.
