It's always difficult to "rate" this sort of cheap, compromised, small tool. Compared to a series of precision dado blades, it doesn't do a great job, doesn't hold extreme tolerances, and is hard to set up. However, for the price and versatility, you can't ask for more. After about 400 feet of cutting it's still sharp, does a more than adequate job of producing rabbets and dadoes for bookshelves and drawers, and sits comfortably waiting for that next project... for small change from a tight budget. All things considered, that's worth five stars in my book.
