Silly me, I thought I could purchase a couple of these (afterall, look at the price compared so say, Leecraft) and get a zero clearance for dado, regular and bevel cuts. I didn't get to do this right away but when I did decide to utilize the inserts, the first thing I noticed is that after placing them within the throat, there was a 'hump' (i.e., the inserts were slightly convex) in the middle of ALL THREE. Needless to say I was not a happy camper. I wanted/expected these things to be FLAT. So, just recently I purchased a Leecraft for my Ridgid 3650. Now this puppy is FLAT. I know, I know, look at the price difference. But then, look at the final product!
