The insert is blank so you can custom fit the blade slot by passing your blade up through the insert. Buy two, one for your regular blade and one for your dado blade.

The zero clearance insert fits the 10 inch Craftsman contractors saw that I acquired circa 1984. The adjustments allow it to be installed flush with the table. It is much thicker than the original insert, which meant it did not allow the 10 inch blade to be lowered far enough to be completely under the new insert. I had to use a smaller diameter blade to start the groove in the new insert and then use a 10 inch blade to complete the groove. Once completed, it performs well. I'm satisfied.
