I have been very happy with all of DeWalt's products and it seems that they are always listening to their customers. Unlike the previous reviewers who had issues with leveling the table with the mobile base and a narrow bracket, my unit came with both issues addressed. The unit I received (obviously modified based on similar feedback from customers) came with adjusting slots (rather than holes) at the bottom of the legs (where they connect to the feet) which allow the user to adjust the length of the table legs to fit a mobile base (which I have). The bracket that connects the table is now the full width of the table and provides a very solid connection for the extension. I was able to level the table nicely and easily with the added adjustment capabilities and I put the new fence rails to use immediately. The only way I could have been happier with the table is if I was able to keep the right cast iron wing attached to the table. One word of warning to anyone who wants to upgrade to the 52" rail system is that the extension table mounts to the saw table directly so you have to remove the wing on the right side. I bought a couple of cast iron wings (another great upgrade) at the same time as the 52" fence rail kit and now I have an extra wing hanging around. Back To Top
