The DeWalt DC9096B is a 18V XRP Extended Run-Time Battery Pack. The DeWalt only uses top quality cells for their cordless batteries. The DC9096 XR+ Pack Extended Run Time batteries deliver 40% more run time than XR PACK batteries. They are high capacity 2.4 Amp-Hour with new cobalt technology which produces extended run time. The Ni-Cd cells used by DeWalt offer consistent performance in a wide variety of climates and applications. It is for use with all DeWalt 18V cordless tools. Includes: 5 Packs of DC9096B NEW. After reading the comment above, contacted MyToolPlace to confirm the batteries were new before ordering. The 5 that I got were new, undamaged and as promised. I had a similar problem with ToolKing as they sent several "reconditioned in Mexico" batteries and then tried to convince me they were new. Returned the ones to ToolKing and bought from MyToolPlace. These guys are the real deal. No complaints. The batteries may be a few bucks more, but they ARE ACTUALLY NEW!!!! Bottom line...if you want NEW 18V XPR Dewalt batteries, buy them from MyToolPlace.
