This is a reconditioned power tool. Reconditioned generally means that the tool has been returned to the manufacturer, who brings the tool back to like new conditions. Some tools may contain cosmetic blemishes. The DeWalt D26670 Heavy Duty Laminate Trim Router will tackle jobs quickly, easily, and accurately. It combines perpendicularity, bit concentricity, and tool free adjustment for a truly versatile power tool. This router has been machined surfaces on the base as well as the motor to provide the most perpendicular cut available, and its precision-machined, cast-aluminum base provides durability as well as stability. It also allows the user to adjust the base vertically and horizontally without the need for tools. This tool features a 1/4 collet to allow for roundover bits, laminate bits, and a variety of decorative detail bits. The 5.6 Amp, 30,000 RPM motor provides the power for materials ranging from laminates to hardwoods delivers the power and torque for hardwoods and all small router applications. The fixed base accepts standard template guides for ease of use in cutting mini dovetails, hinge butt and strike and latch templates.
