Customer Reviews & CommentsI bought one of these for my fiancee, who is the gardener type. I bought it so she would stop absconding with my pocket knife, and so far my plan has worked nicely. I'm no conoisseur of bypass pruners, but these seem well-constructed and plenty sharp. The tools are typical Leatherman steel, which is to say adequate unto the task. I strongly prefer locking knives, and this one doesn't. That's a bummer, particularly with the saw. I've also become very accustomed to having access to the knife blades on the outside of the tool (the way the Wave and Charge are designed) but I think that would have made this tool too bulky and unwieldy. As it is, it's a big tool...noticeably larger than my Charge. The handles are comfortable enough, with nice injection-molded rubber inserts. The sheath is great. There's a metal pocket clip, and a nylon belt slot. The tool can be stored either folded, or in pruner-mode, which is a very nice touch. Well made, well designed, well-conceived. Despite my quibbles, the lady is a happy gardener, and my pocket knife is way less muddy. Mission accomplished.
