This coil roofing nailer is one of seven new heavy-duty air-powered nailers from the venerable Milwaukee, and the whole series is another testament to the red labels unflagging quality.
At the top of our list is how incredibly light Milwaukees nailers are, even fully loaded, and their compact size makes them a cinch to tote and use, especially in awkward positions. But a close second is the clever inclusion of a magnet that holds onto the nails as youre loading and significantly speeds up the process, reducing fumbling and dropped fasteners. Another big tip of the hat to Milwaukee for incorporating both sequential and bump firing modes, accessible just by turning a knob, so when speed is a need, youre ready to go, but precision is at your fingertips too. We like the quality built into this tool, from the magnesium housing to the rugged rubber bumper guard that protects your investment should the tool take a fall. The hassle-free replaceable nosepiece has hard-wearing carbide inserts, and theres even a self-cleaning air filter in the tool handle, keeping dust and dirt out of the tools workings – and that means longer tool life. The shingle guide is a handy touch, and we like that its easily removed when its not needed.

The Load-N-Go™ magazine holds 120 galvanized wire collated nails from 3/4 in. to 1-3/4 in. length and .120 in. diameter, and a magnet holds the nails in place for fast, efficient loading. A thick rubber guards minimize housing damage in case of a drop. The tool-free depth-of-drive adjustment gives you precise depth control and protects against overdriving nails. The in-handle self-cleaning air filter extends life by preventing dirt and debris from entering the tool. The adjustable air deflector with muffler directs exhaust away from the work area and holds down the noise. The textured selectable trigger lets you move from sequential or contact actuation by simply turning a knob. This nailer features a replaceable nosepiece with carbide inserts for easy maintenance and extended tool life and a removable shingle guide to assist in quick shingle alignment. Also features an internal piston catch for consistent driving power, plus a rubber over-molded handle and trigger.

Recently bought this and have just finished two small roofs. ZERO jams, consistant depth (even with a "cheesy" compressor), and really easy to load and adjust. TRUTH IN ADVERTISING NOTE: This is my first roofing nailer, so I can't compare it to Bostich, PC, Senco..., but I'm really impressed with how well this one works. I expected some random problems, but so far have had NONE.
