This straight brad nailer is one of seven new heavy-duty air-powered nailers from the venerable Milwaukee, and the whole series is another testament to the red labels unflagging quality.
Like all of Milwaukees new nailers, this is incredibly light, even fully loaded, and its cool, compact size makes it a cinch to tote and use, especially in awkward positions and at the tail end of a long day of trim installation. But its crowded at the top of the list: Despite their light weight, these nailers are heavyweights in the power department. The 7150-21 effortlessly drives 5/8" to 2-1/8" brads and, best of all, its reload indicator even alerts you when your magazines nearly empty. Loading more fasteners takes a couple of seconds at most, and that means more money in your pocket. Another big tip of the hat to Milwaukee for incorporating both sequential and bump firing modes, accessible just by turning a knob, so when speed is a need, youre ready to go, but precision is at your fingertips too. We like the quality built into this tool, from the magnesium housing and oil-free motor to the easily adjustable air deflector and muffler, as well as the convenient rafter hook for storage. The non-marring nosepiece wont deface your work surface, and theres even a self-cleaning air filter in the tool handle, keeping dust and dirt out of the tools workings – and that means longer tool life. The tool-free depth-of-drive adjustment gives you precise depth control and protects against overdriving nails. The tool-free jam release gives you quick access for clearing occasional jams. This unit also features a selectable trigger that allows you to choose sequential or contact actuation by simply turning a knob. An in-handle self-cleaning air filter extends life by preventing dirt and debris from entering the tool. The adjustable air deflector with muffler directs exhaust away from the work area. This nailer comes with a removable no-mar tip that prevents damage to the workpiece. It also features a reload indicator that alerts the user when nearly out of nails. Also features an internal piston catch, rubber over-molded handle and trigger, and an adjustable belt hook that provides convenience for carrying when not in use.

This is a great brad nailer. It is light and well balanced. I like the fact that the air discharge is out of the handle below the air intake. I have used it to build several cabinets and it is fun to use. I have not had a single mis-fire or had to hammer in a nail. It has a sequential fire mode which seems to work well, although I usually use the single fire mode. Awesome tool.
