I needed something more than a dust mask for some of my projects, but the respirators sold in the hardware stores are usually medium and large sizes -- too large for my smaller-size face. Anyone with experience with these type of respirators knows how important a good fit is for safe, effective use. This small size respirator fits me great, the seal is comfortable, and with the different filters available, I can use it for dusts, vapors, or both. I also like the top head strap (a kind of split design into two straps) that provides added stability. Once I had this mask on, it stayed put. I'd recommend this respirator to any handywomen like myself who sometimes need more than just a dust mask. HOWEVER: Be sure to familiarize yourself with the safety practices in using these types of respirators, read all instructions on your specific respirator, and if at all possible, have yourself fit tested. Safety devices of any type aren't safe if not used properly!
