The Bahco premium ergonomic carbide scraper is intended for heavy-duty applications and is ideal for precision scraping work, such as windows, molding, and narrow corners. The long-lasting carbide blade allows you to scrape wood, metal and concrete, quickly and efficiently removing paint, glue, varnish, rust, and more. The 2-component handle gives you better grip and added comfort; the thin front and precision thumb-grip provides increased control. This scraper comes with a versatile 1-inch triangular blade; the blade can also be fitted with other speciality blades including round, drop, and pear designs. The tool measures 11-by-3-9/10-by-1-3/5 inches (LxHxW) and comes with a holster for convenient pocket or belt storage. It is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.

I own a 100 year old 3 story home in Newport. I have learned if you want a paint job that will last, you have to go own to bare wood. I will no longer waste time painting over multi layers of old paint. Plus when all the paint is removed from moldings, the new paint lines are so crisp and beautiful. Trust me, it is worth the extra time to get rid of the old paint. You will thank yourself later. After wasting $$ on inferior scrapers, I have found THE best. The sharp carbide blades SLICE the paint off (sometimes so smooth you barely have to sand the wood afterwards). Ergonomically designed, the handles fit great in your hand and does not cramp your grip. I suggest to buy 2 of the smaller size so you can keep the round blade in one all the time (perfect profile for scraping cove or scotia molding) and the triangular blade in the other. Also the carbide blades seem to last forever! Also get the larger scraper with the ball grip on the front of the scraper for larger surfaces Thanks Bahco!
