The Wagner Spray Tech Paint Crew paint sprayer is specifically designed to spray most architectural coatings including thick (un-thinned) exterior latex paints. The Paint Crew offers the same quality spray pattern as high-priced contractor units, but it's easier to use and more affordable, making it an ideal tool for the do-it-yourselfer. Whether you're painting just the fence or your entire home, the Paint Crew is simple to operate and easy-to-clean for years of trouble-free operation. Wagner's innovative 413 reversible spray tip provides a superior finish and lets you clear clogs fast with a twist of the wrist. A 3/8-horsepower piston pump cranks out 2,750 PSI for tackling multi-story painting projects quickly. A convenient carrying handle and lightweight design ensure easy transport. Best of all, with simplified set-up and clean up, the Paint Crew makes even smaller projects fast and easy. The Wagner Paint Crew is an airless piston pump sprayer with the performance of a contractor sprayer yet designed for the homeowner. The paint crew uses standard reversible spray tips and comes complete with hose, tip and metal spray gun.

I was all set to rent a pro unit to paint my garage, when I saw a deal on a reconditioned 770. Based on previous experience with Wagner consumer spray guns, I was doubtful, but ordered it anyway. And I'm very glad I did. Unlike the little hand-held diaphragm sprayers, this gun is light, easy to handle, and puts out a huge volume of paint with no spitting or dribbling. It easily handled the heavy acrylic latex I used on my garage. The gun supplied with this sprayer is a professional unit, and the pump puts out as much paint as a lot of commercial grade painters. After spending perhaps a half-hour taping and masking, I had my entire garage painted in less time than it took to do the prep! Cleanup was maybe another half hour, and simple, using the Wagner cleaning and lube solution, if you carefully follow the instructions in the booklet. Hint: After you pour out excess paint in the hopper, use a squeegee to get that lest bit back into the bucket, rinse it with water, and use heavy-duty paper towels to get the last bits out. Then fill the hopper with cleaner, flush, and lube. One hint: You absolutely want to install a swivel on the gun before using this unit- it's inexpensive, and makes handling the gun much, much easier.
