In a past review for the Wagner Paint Crew. I gave it 5 stars and a rave review. So I thought that the roller would be just as good. It did speed up the painting process, but trying to control the hose was a horror story. The nylon tubing is so inflexible it started to hurt my wrist trying to control it. After about 10 minutes I thought I made a mistake. I wasn't very happy. Every-time you get to a inner corner or a molding you have to flip the roller so the roller frame doesnt scrape. This is were you have to wrestle with the hose. I know Wagner sells a swivel fitting for the hose. I will buy it, as soon as I find one. On the other hand, it did apply the paint nicely. And there was no paint spatter or dips on the floor or me. One other thing, I didn't use the paint crew for some time. I cleaned it as per instructions. And put it away for more than a year. So I figured It was ready to paint with. I loaded the hopper with paint and switched it on, nothing! I had to dump the paint and disassemble it. Not a big deal when it is clean. But it is a mess when it is loaded with paint. The hopper valve was stuck shut. A slight squeeze and it was free. My advice is to disassemble it for a quick inspection after storage. It would have saved me an hour and a lot of clean up.
