Product Description
The Kaito MS523 combines a sturdy 3-LED flashlight with an AM/FM radio, giving users a handy versatile camping accessory, job site companion, car gadget or an indispensable tool in an emergency situation, such as a hurricane or an earthquake. Made of durable, high-impact plastic, the rugged device features 3 super bright LEDs, and it can last for 10 minutes if cranked for 1 minute. The flashlight is great for illuminating a campsite or dimly lit work area, campers will also enjoy the AM/FM radio and its built-in speaker and telescoping FM antenna, which improves reception in out-of-the-way locations. This emergency flashlight features 3 super bright white LEDs, each is rated at 15,000 MCD, so it's about 10 times brighter than the hand shake type or squeeze type and 2 times brighter than those 3-LED flashlight you will find elsewhere. This flashlight can be charged by hand string pulling or an external DC 6V/100-150 mA adaptor (NOT included). The flashlight can last for 6-8 hours while fully charged. The life time of these LED bulbs are rated at 100,00 hours. This LED flashlight is also water resistant so it's perfect for outdoors use, simply keep it in you car, RV, boat and with your emergency kit. For the low price and small size this little radio works well. You can crank the generator and it works. You can put in two AAA batteries and it works. I don't know if I'd listen to it in place of a full sized boom box. But, for emergency use, it could be a life-saver! Recommended! boland7214@aol
