Using a 415 reversible spray tip, the Paint Crew Plus features pressure control for superior exterior painting results applying both thin and thick-bodied materials. Adjustable pressure control allows selection of the pressure to best fit the job and reduce overspray when spraying ligter bodied coatings or using the optional roller attachment. Rugged wheels and a telescoping handle make maneuvering and transporting the Paint Crew Plus quick and effortless; the handle locks in the up position for transport and in the down position for lifting and storage. A removable hopper allows for fast and easy clean-up.

Let me tell you about my day yesterday. I started painting our 150+ feet of gothic top picket fence with a brush and roller. It took me two and a half hours to paint one 8-foot section and a gate, both sides, two coats. I sat on the steps and thought, this is miserable. By 3:30 that afternoon, I was happily setting up my new Wagner Paint Crew. At 6:00 I had finished spraying the entire fence on both sides. I made a quick trip to the store to buy more paint, and by 8:00 I had finished a quick second coat on everything I had painted, PLUS I had also painted all of my white wicker lawn furniture. And it all looks GREAT. One of my neighbors actually came over and said it looked like I had replaced the fence with one of the new solid color vinyl ones. (Actually, I think it looks better than vinyl.) This machine is amazing. Here's why: 1. You pour the paint directly into a hopper-- It holds a gallon+ at a time--and you don't have to dilute It. My fence project used a latex solid color stain, but the instructions say you can use oil based paints and stains as well. 2. The unit maintains pressure as well as an air compressor would. The high quality sprayer nozzle delivers a micro-aerosolized output that covers beautifully. No runs,drips, or missed spots--and it lays down a ton of paint with every pass. 3. Standby mode: If you have a wet cloth and a ziplock baggie for the spray nozzle, you can put this sprayer away for up to 16 hours without worrying about the paint hardening. Now THAT is a blessing. No more cleaning your sprayer if you have a job that lasts more than a day! This sprayer literally saved me. It would have taken a month of weekends to accomplish what I finished in one day with the Wagner Paint Crew. A few things to consider: The amount of overspray is formidable. In my case, I was painting a picket fence, so there was a lot of open space in between what was catching the paint. If you're in this situation, my advice is to wear a hat and sunglasses. Without realizing it, I wound up with so much overspray in my hair my kids said I looked like a little old lady with white hair! Make sure you read the instruction book before you start. Yes, it may look self explanatory, but there are a few things in there you have to know before you hit the ON button. In my case, this involved specific instructions for using TWO wrenches to tighten the fittings. You really need to do this, because the machine puts out a lot of pressure. (My first 1/2 gallon went on the ground at the hopper because of this). Don't underestimate the amount of paint this thing will use to complete a project -- and there is some waste. I used a full seven gallons of undiluted paint. It's good that you can leave it without cleaning it while you make a run to the store, but it's better if you don't have to. Buy the optional swivel attachment. It's a must have. Make sure you move everything that you don't want paint on, like your mailbox, gate hardware, THE DOG... There's nothing selective about the spraying process. If it's in front of your nozzle, it's going to get painted. I haven't used the roller that came with the machine, but I can tell you that I would NOT attempt to spray anything indoors with the sprayer. It's not like using a can of spray paint. Also, this unit isn't for small jobs. It's made to handle one gallon after another. All day long.
