The Raindrip automatic drip watering kit comes complete with an electric timer designed to water up to 20 potted plants, hanging baskets, or planter boxes. The kit's mini in-line drippers and PC (pressure compensating) drippers are great for all types of container drip watering. The set includes 75 feet of 1/2-inch poly hose, two 1/4-inch barbed connectors, 15 1/4-inch barbed tees, two 1/4-inch barbed elbows, 15 4-inch support stakes, 10 1/2-gph PC drippers, 10 1-gph mini in-line drippers, five 1/4-inch tube end clamps, one 3/4-inch hose thread swivel to 1/2-inch compression adaptor and filter washer, 10 1/4-inch mounting clamps, 10 gph PC flow controls, and one electronic water timer.

OK first the pros, this will save you a lot of time compared with the "pull out the hose and spray it around" method. A lot of time. And your patio plants will love you for it too--I grow tomatoes, herbs, and flowers on my patio and all my little ones produced much better when I got this (with less water waste). The downside... The attachment from the spigot to the machine always leaked. I couldnt' get it to fit perfectly right, despite trying everything in the manual. It would be really nice if they also included a rubber tube or something to fit over the threads and the end of the tube that attaches to the spigot to make sure nothing leaks. The machine itself also conked out after about a year...I changed the battery and everything, but it never worked right again. I did buy another, but if there was another option out there I probably would have gone with a different brand.
